F1 2011 Indian Grand Prix - Statistical Graphics Race Report

A statistical graphics review of the first Indian Formula One Grand Prix, generated from the data using R, Sweave and LaTeX. (And yes, I know the layout is all messed up - but I've completely had enough of this code hacking lark for today! If you want to fix it, the script used to generate the report is available for you to tweak yourself..;-)

All comments appreciated, whether relating to the charts, the (lack of) commentary / explanation, and/or the "source code" for the report.

Over the coming weeks/months, I'll start writing up howtos/documentation for the various chart types so they can be reused/polished etc.

If you would like to help evolve the report format, or any f the chart/table types, feel free to check out the source code. In particular, I need to start pulling out the diffferent chart types into separate testable files, generating the images that way, and then recompiling the the whole document. I'm not sure if it's possible to do this without having to load the data in each time? At the moment, the data is being pulled from a Google Spreadsheet.

The layout is a bit messed up (well, okay, a lot messed up), and I'm not sure how useful several of the charts are - or what more useful charts there may be, but it's something to start from...
